Welcome to Moray Community Resilience 2024!
Thursday 7 November: 10am-3pm, Inchberry Hall.
Join us at Inchberry Hall for our third annual resilience event for a day filled with learning and networking. Three years in, our initiative continues to focus on supporting Moray to build stronger, more resilient communities for the future in partnership with Moray Council, emergency services and the third sector.
Moray Community Resilience 2024 will feature an information marketplace, a fantastic guest speaker from Torphins Community Help (TorCH) and the opportunity to connect and share ideas with resilience groups across Moray. And of course, a free lunch and refreshments! You will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from category 1 and 2 emergency responders, third sector support and Moray Council services.
We also have a pot of funding from the SSEN grant to Moray Council Emergency Planning that we will be distributing to community resilience groups that attend. There is £3000 available to be split equally between community resilience groups who attend the event and submit a community emergency plan to Moray Council at or before the event using our agreed template. We have chosen to distribute it this way so that our local community resilience groups can put it towards resources that they need to support their individual plan.
