Activities for kids lined up at Elgin library for in-service day

KEEP the kids amused during the in-service break by bringing them along to a free activity at Elgin Library.

On Tuesday 17 September, during the Spirit of Moray Book Festival, three author sessions are being held, featuring Vivian French and Emily Dodd.

Vivian French is set to enthral and entertain with her love of theatre, evil villains, the 19th century, poverty stricken families, steam trains, rivalry, fun and Shakespeare; book your place to hear how she mixes them all together in The Steam Whistle Theatre Company. Sessions at 11.15am and 1.30pm.

Emily Dodd will explore energy and in particular wind and waves. Prepare to be blown away at this fun and fact-filled interactive event. Emily will explain how the energy all around us changes from one form to another, giving you a better understanding of the earth’s amazing capabilities. Session at 1.15pm.
