Adult Learners’ Week programme in Moray
Adult Learners’ Week is a celebration of adult learning and an opportunity to try new things.
Moray’s Adult & Family Learning Team have an exciting programme of free events running from 18 – 24 May 2024 to celebrate the week. The team have also organised several events throughout the year to continue providing opportunities for adults in the community to learn something new:
Maths Course: Friday 10 May, 10.30am-12.30pm, The Inkwell, Elgin
Why Does Everyone hate maths?: Monday 20 May, 1.30-2.30pm & 6.15-7.15pm - Activities room, Elgin Library
Intro to Map Reading: Tuesday 21 May, 2-3.30pm - Activities Room, Elgin Library
Driving Theory: Tuesday 21 May (3 weeks), 1-4pm, Elgin Library
Food Hygiene for All: Wednesday 22 May, 9am-4pm - Activities Room, Elgin Library
Archaeology: Box of Discovery: Thursday 23 May, 2-3.30 pm - Elgin Library
STEM for Adults/Grown-ups: Friday 24 May, 1.30-3pm - Elgin Library
Feeling Safe Online (Cyber- Security Training) Monday 27 May, 6.15-7.45pm - Elgin Library
Be Your Own Bodyguard: Tuesday 18 June, 2-3.30pm - Wright Fitness Centre, March mount Crescent, Buckie
Driving Theory: Friday 30 August (6 weeks), 10.30am-12pm - Elgin Library
