Armed Forces Covenant grant scheme

Groups and individuals in Moray are being invited to make funding bids to the Armed Forces Covenant grant scheme.

Applications should be submitted in the first instance to the Moray Community Covenant steering group for its endorsement.

The steering group’s next meetings are on June 6 and October 3 and applications should be sent to armedforcesgrants@moray.gov.uk at least 10 days in advance.

Applications endorsed by the steering group will be passed to the national Armed Forces Covenant Fund grants team for consideration.

In cases where an application cannot be endorsed, the steering group may be able to help in developing it to a point where it can be considered at a future date.

The grant scheme has four headings under which funds are available – veterans’ gateway, families in stress, improving local covenant delivery and community integration/delivery of local services.
