Best-selling author to return to Elgin library next week to talk about latest novel

BEST-SELLING author James Oswald will be talking about his latest DCI McLean novel, Bury Them Deep, at Elgin Library on Friday 28 February.

The esteemed author, and farmer of a 350-acre livestock farm specialising in pedigree Highland cattle and New Zealand Romney sheep, is returning to Elgin with the 10th instalment of his McLean series.

In Bury Them Deep, a member of the Police Scotland team fails to clock-in for work and there is concern for her whereabouts. The discovery of her burnt-out car in remote woodland to the south of Edinburgh sets off a desperate search for the missing woman. Meanwhile, DCI Tony McLean and the team are preparing for a major anti-corruption operation which may raise the ire of more than a few powerful people in the city.
