Consultation on compensatory tree planting sites begins

RESIDENTS are being asked have their say on tree planting sites identified in Moray.

Buckie, Dufftown, Elgin, Fogwatt, Forres and Lossiemouth all have sites identified for compensatory tree planting – required when a planning application involves the felling of woodland. Suggestions for additional or alternative sites are also welcome.

Comments can be made online at moray.maps.arcgis.com/apps/GeoForm/index.html?appid=2ac3a492e0ce44f488c7875d95abea24. After the consultation ends of 29 November, comments will be considered and a final list of sites will be presented to Moray Council’s Planning & Regulatory Services Committee for approval.
