Dallachy recycling centre closing on Saturdays
Moray Council has advised that Dallachy recycling centre at Spey Bay will be closed on Saturdays starting from 3 May 2025.
The change to operating hours was agreed by full council as part of ongoing savings initiatives and efforts to improve the efficiency and sustainability of waste management services.
The recycling centre will continue to operate as usual from Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm with last admittance 3.50pm and closed for lunch 11.50am-12.30pm. Residents are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly and make use of the centre during available days.
Customers are also reminded that household waste recycling centres at Keith, Buckie, Forres and Elgin are available on a Saturday and Elgin is available to book up to one hour before visiting online.
