Members of the Dufftown Planning for Real® working group are to give a presentation on the preparation of the town’s community action plan.

They will explain how they used the Planning for Real® process to engage with local residents and obtain their views and suggestions on the future of their local community.

The exercise included the creation of a 3D map of Dufftown which helped to engage the community and generate a vision of how it might look in the years to come.

The presentation, which will detail how the community action plan is being monitored and reviewed by the working group, will take place at Dufftown library on Tuesday, November 1 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and will be followed by a question and answer session.

A similar event on the Planning for Real® project at Aberlour will be held at Aberlour library on Thursday, November 24 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
