Congratulations to St Sylvester’s Primary School, from Elgin, who won the Moray heat of the Scottish European Educational Trust’s annual Euro quiz today.

Congratulations to St Sylvester’s Primary School, from Elgin, who won the Moray heat of the Scottish European Educational Trust’s annual Euro quiz today.

Twelve primaries from across Moray took part in the quiz, which was made up of questions on a wide variety of topics relating to Europe.

The St Sylvester’s team – captain Adam Landicho, Alisa Bodman, Dea Nunag and Beth Dempster – beat Applegrove, from Forres, by a single point in the final held at Elgin Town Hall.

The winners now go on to represent Moray in the national final which will be held at Holyrood in May.
