Falconer Museum talks

The treasures that make up the Falconer Museum collection in Forres will be the subject of wo talks by museums staff next week.

As well as a short film on the museum’s founder, the Victorian geologist and palaeontologist Dr Hugh Falconer, the talks will include a selection of ‘mystery objects’ from the vast collection.

The presentations will take place at Dufftown library on Wednesday, November 2 at 3pm and at Forres library on Thursday, November 3 at 7pm by museum officers Liz Trevethick and Anne Owen. Both events are free.

Moray Council area stretches from Tomintoul in the south to the shores of the Moray Firth, from Keith in the east to Forres in the west.
