A public consultation gets under way next week on plans to rezone a number of primary schools in and around Forres.

The proposals relate to the catchment areas for Alves, Anderson’s, Applegrove, Kinloss and Pilmuir.

The consultation period begins next Monday and will continue until September 30, with a public meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 23 at 7pm at Forres Academy.

Copies of the proposals will be available at www.moray.gov.uk/rezoning or from any of the schools in the Forres ASG, the Forres access point at Auchernack and Forres library.

It is proposed that any changes to the catchment areas will come into force from August next year.
