Keith’s 3G pitch open for bookings following refurbishment
Keith’s artificial turf pitch is open for bookings following its £200,000 refurbishment.
It’s one of a number of 3G pitches that have been upgraded across Moray, with work to resurface synthetic turf pitches in Buckie and Aberlour already being completed.
As part of the work in Keith, the floodlights at the pitch have also been converted to energy efficient LED lighting.

Chair of Moray Council’s Education, Communities and Leisure Services Committee, Cllr Kathleen Robertson said: “This is a significant refurbishment, which will ensure the availability of a high quality and durable 3G facility for schools, local sports groups, and other members of the community for years to come.
“I’m particularly pleased that we’ve been able to complete this upgrade with a focus on sustainability – the old turf is being fully recycled, and the project has also utilised recycled products; such as the kickboards around the pitch.”
