Leisure Link Partnership back in time for the October school holidays
FREE ACCESS to leisure facilities in Leisure Link authorities across Scotland returns this weekend.
From Saturday 9 October, FitLife members can access gym, public swimming and fitness classes at Leisure Link Partnership sites across Aberdeen, Argyll and Bute, the Borders, Highland, Orkney, and The Western Isles - all at no extra cost.
The Leisure Link Partnership means that when working away from home or on holiday members from participating areas can use the local facilities as part of their existing home-based membership.
Moray Council’s Sport and Manager, Ken Brown, said he’s pleased to see the return of the partnership, which provides excellent value for money.
“We’re delighted to announce the return of the Leisure Link Partnership after it was put on hold due the Covid-19 pandemic. The announcement is very welcome news and I have no doubt that members and their families will make good use of the initiative as the school holidays begin.
“We look forward to welcoming new faces into our facilities, which remain open in-line with the current Scottish Government Covid-19 guidance.”
Those making use of the scheme are asked to check directly with the site they are planning on visiting whether advanced booking is necessary, as booking arrangements have had to be put in place for certain activities for test and protect purposes.
