Magical news as Wizarding Week is extended to all Moray libraries
EVERY library in Moray will take part in a week-long celebration of Harry Potter, following last year's inaugural event at Elgin Library.
From Monday 21 to Saturday 26 October, there will be activities including Bookbug and story time, with a magical twist, and all libraries will have activity and colouring sheets.
Coding sessions will be delivered in the Learning Centre at Elgin Library on Tuesday 22 October. The first session will run from 2 - 3pm and will be suitable for children in primaries 1-3. The second session from 3.30 – 4.30pm will be for children in primaries 4-7.
Specific Harry Potter celebration events will be held at three libraries:
Elgin Library – Thursday 24 October, 2 – 3.30pm (booking essential)
Forres Library – Monday 21 October, 10.30 – noon
Keith Library – Friday 25 October, 2 – 3pm
Famous for its colony of dolphins, fabulous beaches and more malt whisky distilleries than any where else in Scotland, Moray is a thriving area and a great place to live. Nestling between Aberdeenshire and the Highlands, Moray stretches from Tomintoul in the south to the shores of the Moray Firth, from Keith in the east to Brodie Castle in the west.
