Moray Council confirms all schools to remain open as potential strike action is suspended
Moray Council is confirming that all schools are due to open as normal next week.
Notification was received on Friday afternoon (13 March) from the Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) that they are suspending all industrial action following an agreement reached earlier on Friday with Scottish Government, EIS and the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA) to settle the Workload Dispute.
As a result of this, all schools will open and pupils and staff should attend as normal on the days previously due to close – 19 and 25 March.
