Moray Council InfoHub services fully rolled out
Following the introduction of the Information Hub service in Elgin Library in September 2022, the same is now available in all Moray Council libraries.
Information on council services is available at Aberlour, Buckie, Burghead, Cullen, Dufftown, Fochabers, Forres, Keith, Lossiemouth and Tomintoul libraries.
With some libraries open until 8pm, and at weekends, the hubs offer more flexibility for Moray locals to drop off forms, access information on council services via computers, receive support with completing online forms for council services or use a free phone to call the council’s contact centre during its opening hours.
Residents are also able to access the Elgin reception in the council annexe building to drop off forms, evidence or certificates, and attend pre-booked appointments with council staff. Opening hours there are Monday to Friday between 8.45am-5pm. Library opening hours, including Infohub services, can be found online.
Chair of Moray Council’s Corporate Committee, Cllr Bridget Mustard, said: “While online and digital services are now the first port-of-call for most people, and offer an easy and more cost effective options, we appreciate many of us are still looking for that in-person contact with the council.
“The new info hubs are providing a local point of contact for the council and give a more flexible offering for access, often outwith traditional opening hours.
“We look forward to welcoming even more residents to our libraries as they use and support this new local service.”
