Moray Council Leader shares her condolences following the death of Former First Minister Alex Salmond

"I am shocked and saddened at the news of Alex Salmond’s passing. As a giant of Scottish politics, particularly here in the North East of Scotland, Alex Salmond's loss will be keenly felt. I pass on my condolences, on behalf of The Moray Council, to Alex's wife Moira, his family, friends and colleagues."

In a mark of respect for a Former First Minister, flags at Moray Council's HQ will be lowered to half-mast until the day of Mr Salmond's funeral.
