Moray Council submits petition to use Common Good land for new Forres Academy
Moray Council has submitted an application to the Court of Session for permission to use part of Roysvale Park for the new Forres Academy development.
The application is being made under Section 75 (2) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973. It seeks an order to permit disposal and appropriation of part of Roysvale Park, which forms part of the Forres Common Good land, as a temporary construction site and for creating a new bus drop-off area as a facility for the proposed new Forres Academy.

Anyone wishing to respond should submit answers to the Office of Court, Court of Session, 2 Parliament Square, Edinburgh, EH1 1RQ, within 21 days from the date of the notice.
