Moray locals invited to phase two m.connect events
Following the agreement of the expansion of m.connect services in Moray as part of the second phase of the Bus Revolution project, a number of drop-in engagement events will take place over the coming months.
The Bus Revolution project is part of Moray’s £100m Growth Deal. The project is funded through £4m from the Scottish Government and £300,000 from Moray Council.
Bus Revolution aims to improve public transport connectivity across Moray by providing additional public transport services to improve access and use of public transport.
The engagement sessions will provide information on what the m.connect service has delivered to date; the changes being made to the m.connect network and why; and what services and provisions are being introduced in 2025.
The events run through to March 2025 and kick off in November:
- Dufftown Community Centre on Friday 22 November from 10am to 1pm
- Lhanbryde Community Hall on Monday 25 November from 1pm to 4pm
- Archiestown Village hall on Friday 29 November from 1pm to 4pm
In December events will take place at:
- Tomintoul Library on Monday 9 December from 12:30pm to 3pm
- Glenlivet Hall on Wednesday 11 December from 10am to 1pm
- Elgin Library on Tuesday 17 December from 10am to 12:30pm
Details of the events in the new year will be shared online.
Chair of Moray Council’s Economic Development and Infrastructure Services Committee, Cllr Marc Macrae, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Moray locals to find out more about the m.connect service and its phase two plans. This is an exciting time for the service and I’d encourage everyone to come along and feedback directly to the team.”
