Moray's War project heads for Cullen

The latest instalment in the four-and-a-half year Moray’s War project will take place at Cullen next month.

The project, which is being led by Moray Council’s libraries service, coincides with the centenary of the First World War and tells the story of Moray and its people during the conflict.

The Moray’s War team, in association with the Cullen, Deskford and Portknockie Heritage Group, will be showcasing some of the project’s findings to date at a roadshow in Cullen Memorial Hall on Saturday, July 9 from 12 noon to 4pm.

It will include photographic displays, old weapons and artefacts and team members will be on hand to share information and answer questions.

Moray’s War is part of the national Scotland’s War web-based project which is led by the University of Edinburgh.
