Prospective candidates for the forthcoming Moray Council elections have until next Wednesday to lodge their nominations.

Prospective candidates for the forthcoming Moray Council elections have until next Wednesday to lodge their nominations.

Nomination papers require to be submitted to the council’s elections office by 4pm on March 29.

Voters will go to the polls on Thursday, May 4 to elect 26 councillors in eight multi-member wards.

Nomination packs for those interested in standing for election are available by e-mailing election.enquiries@moray.gov.uk or by calling 01343 563334.
