Popular authors to visit Moray libraries

TWO popular authors are set to visit Moray libraries in the coming weeks.

James Oswald will be talking about his latest Inspector McLean novel, ‘The Gathering Dark’ at an evening event in association with Waterstones Elgin. It takes place at Elgin library on Thursday 25 January at 7pm.

Oswald’s first novel was picked up by the Richard and Judy Book club to great acclaim, and he’s gone on to write eight Mclean novels and five fantasy novels as J D Oswald. On Thursday 1 February, Scottish crime writer Stuart MacBride visits Keith library, for an event starting at 7pm.

Best known for his Logan McRae series, his latest novel, ‘Now We Are Dead’, featuring the controversial DS Roberta Steel, was released in November 2017.
