Popular m.connect 333 route to serve Silver Sands Caravan Site

Moray’s m.connect bus service will soon serve Silver Sands Caravan site as part of the timetabled 333 Burghead to Lossiemouth route.

From 15 June 2026 a stop will be added at the popular Moray holiday destination, with the additional stop helping to improve access and connectivity for current and future employees at the site as well as residents and visitors.

Operating Monday to Friday, the 333 service provides six return journeys per day, linking Silver Sands with Burghead, Hopeman, Duffus and Lossiemouth.

As part of the Moray Growth Deal’s Bus Revolution project, the m.connect service aims to increase the number of people using public transport to get to and from rural areas to places of work, education and leisure facilities such as Silver Sands.

Cllr Macrae, Chair of the Economic Development and Infrastructure Committee and Moray Growth Deal lead said: “The additional stop on the 333 service at Silver Sands Caravan Site is a positive step towards better connectivity for rural communities, for leisure and work. The new stop will offer greater flexibility and connectivity for employees and visitors, and support access to both jobs and leisure facilities across the area.”

Julie Wright, Administration Manager at Silver Sands Caravan Site also commented: “The addition of Silver Sands to the Burghead to Lossiemouth service will make a huge difference for our team and visitors, particularly those that once had to rely on driving.”

“Improved transport links will create better access to employment opportunities and help us to retain staff and attract new members to the team. It will also make it easier for our residents and holiday makers to get to and from the site.”
