Postal votes to be issued next week
Ballot papers for postal voters in Moray will be issued next week ahead of the UK parliamentary election on Thursday, June 8.
The first issue of almost 14,200 papers will be sent out on Tuesday.
Tuesday is also the final deadline for postal vote applications, with a second issue taking place on May 31.
Postal ballot papers must be returned by the time the polls close at 10pm on the day of the election.
The returning officer for Moray, Mark Palmer, has advised postal voters to ensure that they read and follow the instructions carefully before completing and returning their ballot paper.
