Primary school pupils in Moray to pick up some Great Reads!
GREAT Reads is Moray libraries’ summer reading challenge for 2019, aimed at encouraging primary school children to enjoy reading books throughout the holidays.
Those wanting to take part need to be a member of the library service – it’s simple and free to join – sign up for the challenge, borrow six books and tell us about them as they go.
On completion they’ll receive a ‘golden ticket’ invitation to meet a children’s author at a prize-giving ceremony later in the year.
Kids can sign up from the last day of term (28 June) and have until 31 August to complete the challenge. There are many books for children at Moray’s libraries. Register today to start enjoying some Great Reads!
Famous for its colony of dolphins, fabulous beaches and more malt whisky distilleries than any where else in Scotland, Moray is a thriving area and a great place to live. Nestling between Aberdeenshire and the Highlands, Moray stretches from Tomintoul in the south to the shores of the Moray Firth, from Keith in the east to Brodie Castle in the west.
