Public asked for input on Findrassie Masterplan

Moray Council is looking for feedback on changes being proposed to the Findrassie Masterplan.

The existing plan needs to be updated to reflect the policies and designations within the 2020 Local Development Plan. This includes two additional sites to the north of the masterplan area for housing and business being incorporated into the masterplan.

The masterplan is now open to public consultation until 5pm on Wednesday 8 November.

Chair of the Planning and Regulatory Services Committee, Cllr David Gordon, is encouraging locals to take part in the consultation exercise.

“The Council will use feedback gathered to develop the final plan, which will go to committee for approval. The masterplan will then be adopted as planning guidance and become a material consideration for any future development around Findrassie. It is therefore crucial that stakeholders and interested parties voice their thoughts throughout the process. This helps to shape the development and stakeholders can see many examples of their ideas having already been included.”

Comments and feedback or requests to speak to Council officers can be emailed to localdevelopmentplan@moray.gov.uk.

Consultation feedback can also be sent to Moray Council, Strategic Planning & Development, Room 221a, Council HQ, and High Street, Elgin, IV30 9BX.
