Spirit of Brass festival set to take place in Moray
Moray Concert Brass is delighted to host the Spirit of Brass Festival 2024 taking place from 27-29 September.
Friday night will kick off at St Giles Church in Elgin and feature the Inverness based traditional brass band, Highland Brass. They play a wide variety of music from classical and contemporary arrangements to movie themes and specially commissioned compositions.
The Saturday show sees Surrey Brass Ensemble take the stage at Elgin Parish Church (formerly St Columba’s) to perform a diverse range of music including Classical, Jazz, Film, and World Music.
On Sunday, the final show will feature Moray Concert Brass with special guests: trumpeters Mike Lovatt; and Rex Richardson; guest conductor Paul Cosh; trombonist Gordon Campbell; and the Military Wives Choir.

Musical Director and Founder of Moray Concert Brass, Glenn Munro, said: “It’s a unique opportunity for us to play alongside some of the world's best brass performers and to be able to share this with the people of Moray.”

Moray Concert Brass has received £9,275 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund Arts, Culture and Heritage scheme (Round 1).
