Two weeks left to apply for postal vote for Scottish Parliament election
Voters are being reminded that the deadline to apply for a new postal or postal proxy vote is 5pm on Tuesday 21 April for the Scottish Parliament election taking place on Thursday 7 May.
Anyone who will be unable to vote in person on polling day is encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Voters who already have a postal vote don’t need to apply again. Anyone applying for a postal proxy vote also have until 5pm on Tuesday 21 April to do so.
The deadline to receive new applications to vote by proxy is 5pm on Tuesday 28 April.
Downloadable applications to vote by post can be found online here and should be returned to: Grampian Electoral Registration Officer, Woodhill House, Westburn Road, Aberdeen, AB16 5GE or by email as a scanned attachment to postal@grampian-ero.gov.uk for postal vote application forms or proxy@grampian-ero.gov.uk for proxy vote application forms.
Applications must be received by the deadline to be valid.
