VE Day 80 commemorative film for Moray released
Moray Council has published a short video ahead of the 80th anniversary of VE Day with pupils from Greenwards Primary School entertaining residents from Anderson's Care Home.
Pupils from the Elgin primary school choir recently met residents from Anderson's Care Home to hear their memories of WWII and VE Day.
The choir sang a selection of well-known songs for the residents before joining them for refreshments.
Also included in the video are some residents from Anderson's Care Home, who share their memories of VE Day in Moray. The film will be shown to attendees of the service of commemoration at St Giles Church in Elgin at 2pm on Thursday 8 May.
A number of events are taking place across Moray to mark 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, signalling the end of WWII.
