Young Moray musicians at the Proms

Three young musicians from Moray have taken part in a concert with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland as part of the annual Proms season.

Three young musicians from Moray have taken part in a concert with the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland as part of the annual Proms season.

Cellists Miriam Scott and Oliver Clark, both former pupils of Forres Academy, and ex-Elgin Academy pupil Shannon Mustard, who plays violin, were part of the 80-piece orchestra which played in front of a full house at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Miriam is studying languages at Glasgow University, Oliver is a student at St Mary’s Music School in Edinburgh, while Shannon is a student at Chetham’s Music School in Manchester.
