Moray nursery and school registration in 2022 confirmed
Online nursery and school registration in Moray has been confirmed for 17-28 January 2022.
Parents and carers in Moray are being encouraged to look out birth certificates and proof of address in plenty time ahead of the registration weeks. Both of these are required to be uploaded for both school and nursery registrations.
Details of how to request a copy of birth certificates can be found on Moray Council’s website. Parents and carers are asked to bear in mind there will be registrar office closures over the holiday period - full details can be found on the festive arrangements page.
Enrolment for P1 is completely online for August 2022 starts, there is still a limit to external visitors in schools due to covid safety measures.
All children aged three and four entitled to their funded hours in Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) from August 2022 or January and April 2023, should be registered online during this time period.
Each ELC setting and childminder is different and parents and carers should check the hours being offered prior to choosing their setting during registration. A video explaining the ELC registration process has been published alongside further information for parents and carers.
Parents and carers are reminded that the registration links go live on 17 January, applications should not be made before then. Session times for ELC settings will be updated on that date.
